ARV is currently developing an Asset Management Strategy that will provide clarity on the current state of ARV’s assets across all locations and put in place a plan for the effective management of ARV’s asset base into the future.

The Strategy will incorporate the expected impacts on assets of factors such as visitor growth, climate change, improvements in technology and what ARV commitments are in the long term.

This, combined with obligations under the Victorian Government’s Asset Management Accountability Framework, will enable ARV to forecast when assets will need to be renewed and support long term capital planning.

ARV has tendered for a consultant to manage the development of the Strategy and an Asset Management Framework, which will result in asset management plans for each resort, ARV-wide asset management templates, and a long-term capital plan by the end of 2024.

In parallel with this development activity, ARV’s Asset Management team is rebuilding current and accurate data about the ARV asset base and undertaking asset renewal forecast modelling, which will be complete by the middle of 2024.
