Planning for the future with the alpine sector

The Alpine Resorts Strategic Plan is the key strategic tool guiding Victoria’s alpine sector. It outlines the sector’s vision and long-term strategic objectives, articulates challenges and opportunities, and identifies strategic priorities for Victoria's alpine resorts.

The current 2020-2025 Alpine Resorts Strategic Plan is nearing its end and it’s time to come together to develop a new plan.

New strategic plan

Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV) is proud to be leading the development of a new strategic plan for 2026 – 2030, providing all stakeholders an opportunity to have their say in the plan’s development through a combination of online engagement and place-based in-person workshops.

These contributions, along with the findings from the review of the 2020-2025 Alpine Resorts Strategic Plan and consideration of other relevant data, will be used to write the new strategic plan.

Community and stakeholder feedback

ARV has partnered with MosaicLab to facilitate high-quality, evidence-based consultation and engagement, enabling a cross-section of stakeholders to inform the development of the plan.

Through an online survey and feedback form on Engage Victoria, opening 5 June 2025, all community members and stakeholders are invited to contribute to the development of the new plan.

To hear more detailed insights, ARV is engaging with key stakeholders of each resort, including the Stakeholder Consultative Committees, business operators, State government and industry at each resort, who will participate in in-person workshops throughout June.

ARV is committed to valuable, purposeful and meaningful engagement with the alpine sector, and is committed to delivering a plan that supports the sector’s growth and on-going success.
