2022 winter statistics

Visitor statistics for 2022 to date show a 58% increase in the 10-year visitor average across all resorts and a 205% increase from last year. To date total visitors reported across all resorts is just over 1 million visitors, which is the highest visitation over the past 10 years.

Visitor weekly comparisons 2022 and 2021

This graph shows a weekly visitor comparison for years 2022 and 2021. The comparison shows increased visitors in 2022 for each week for the season. This increase is due to impacts the COVID-19 pandemic had to visitation in 2021.

This graph shows a comparison of the 2022 visitor numbers against the 10 year average. This shows a steady increase in visitation during 2022  almost doubling the 10 year average.

Visitor days weekly comparisons 2022 and 2021

This graph shows a comparison of visitor days across resorts each week of the season during 2021 and 2022. There is a significant increase in visitor days in 2022 due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic had to visitation in 2021.
