In October 2022, the Minister for the Environment, Lily D’Ambrosio, issued Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV) with a Letter of Expectations regarding the new entity’s performance priorities. While ARV is now answerable to a new Minister, the Hon. Ingrid Stitt, the same priorities continue to apply.
The first of these priorities required ARV to develop a new organisational structure and look to implement it ahead of the 2023 season. The structure has been finalised and is currently in the process of being implemented. Further information about the ARV model can be found here.
Another key priority noted in the Letter was the development of a transition plan to consolidate resort systems and processes. In alignment with this requirement, the organisation has developed the Alpine Resorts Victoria Systems and Processes Transition Plan, which was submitted to the Minister as required by 31 March 2023. The Transition Plan identifies the systems, processes and business practices that ARV will look to consolidate and/or standardise in year one of operation, using the amalgamation funds committed by State Government for this purpose. This includes the adoption of common finance, asset management, property and HR systems across the resorts.
ARV continues to progress other priorities in alignment with Ministerial requirements.
