The Mt Stirling team has maintained strong momentum following the 2025 winter season, progressing a range of off-season projects aimed at improving infrastructure, sustainability and visitor experience ahead of the coming snow season.

Key works delivered over the green season include an expansion of car parking capacity to better accommodate peak visitation periods, as well as forward planning for an upgrade to the resort’s off-grid power system, with a focus on battery enhancements to support reliability and efficiency. In addition, fireplaces across huts throughout the resort have been replaced, improving comfort and amenity for guests using these facilities during the colder months.

With recruitment for the 2026 winter season now complete, Mt Stirling is well positioned to continue delivering its signature high standard of friendly, community-focused service. Core winter operations will include ski patrol, car park management, snow clearing and trail grooming, ensuring safe and accessible conditions for all visitors.

Building on the strong success of last year’s inaugural StirSolstice event, preparations are underway for an expanded 2026 celebration. Stakeholders and visitors are encouraged to mark Saturday 27 June in their calendars, with this year’s event set to return bigger and better as a highlight of the winter season.

These combined investments in infrastructure, operations and events reinforce Mt Stirling’s commitment to delivering a high-quality alpine experience for members, visitors and the broader community.
