Alpine Leasing Policy
The Alpine Leasing Policy provides a consistent framework for the leasing of Crown land in Victoria's alpine resorts.
The policy applies to all new leases to prospective and existing lessees on Crown land within the 6 alpine resorts of Falls Creek, Lake Mountain, Mt Baw Baw, Mt Buller, Mt Hotham and Mt Stirling.
Assistance Animal Policy
This policy outlines and assists ARV to ensure people with disabilities are not subject to additional barriers or discrimination whilst also managing the sensitive flora and fauna within Victorian Alpine Resorts.
Assistance animals are not pets and are highly trained to assist people with a disability to participate in personal and public life activities.
The policy does not apply to non-assistance animals, please see each resorts' specific dog or animal policy for information relating to the ownership of non-assistance animals in Victorian Alpine Resorts
ARV Board Policies
Remotely Piloted Aircraft Policy
The use of Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPAs), commonly referred to as 'drones', requires a permit to operate within any alpine resort in Victoria.
While RPAs offer opportunities for filming, marketing, research, asset surveying, and spatial capture, safe operation is paramount. It protects people, resort infrastructure, visitor amenity, and the sensitive alpine environment.
External Complaints and Grievances Resolution Policy
ARV is committed to handling complaints in a clear and transparent way. This policy provides a framework for managing complaints from external stakeholders and their outcomes. It also guides and supports staff, volunteers, contractors, and stakeholders through the complaint process.
Risk Management Policy
The Risk Management Framework and Risk Management Policy outline the systems, processes and documents that govern ARV’s approach to risk management and ensures compliance with the Victorian Government Risk Management Framework.
Water Quality Policy
ARV is required to provide safe drinking water through a water quality management system consistent with the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines 2022.
This ensures compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act 2003 and Safe Drinking Water Regulations 2015.
