Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV) has awarded the waste services contract for Mt Buller and Mt Stirling to 4SITE Australia, an experienced regional provider with practical knowledge of operating in alpine environments of Mt Hotham, Falls Creek and Mt Buller.

The appointment supports ARV’s commitment to delivering reliable, responsive and locally informed waste services across the resorts. By engaging a regional provider, ARV is helping ensure public investment continues to support local jobs, skills and economic activity.

Experienced local personnel will play an important role in providing the responsiveness and practical understanding required to manage waste effectively in a complex alpine setting, where seasonal demand, weather conditions and environmental sensitivities all shape operations at the resorts.

The ARV Waste Services Contract establishes a framework for continuous improvement, innovation, sustainability and operational efficiencies that will benefit visitors, resort operations and the surrounding alpine environment.

This partnership further supports ARV’s environmental objectives and aligns with the Victorian Government’s circular economy goals, including improved recycling, resource recovery and reduced waste to landfill.

ARV looks forward to working with 4SITE Australia to protect the unique alpine environment while continuing to improve waste and resource recovery outcomes for Mt Buller, Mt Stirling and their communities.
