The Minister for Environment is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) for appointment to the Board of Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV).

This is an opportunity to contribute to the strategic leadership and future stewardship of Victoria’s iconic alpine landscapes. ARV provides sector-wide coordination and strategic direction across the state’s six alpine resorts: Falls Creek, Mount Buller, Mount Hotham, Mount Baw Baw, Mount Stirling and Lake Mountain.

ARV Board members oversee a skills-based governing body that supports a vital environmental and tourism sector. Established in 2022, the Board brings together expertise spanning tourism, financial and commercial management, environmental conservation, public sector governance and Traditional Owner knowledge.

Strong governance and leadership in this role will help ensure the long-term health and prosperity of Victoria’s alpine communities and ecosystems. The alpine resorts attract more than one million visitors each year and support thousands of regional jobs, contributing significantly to liveability, nature-based tourism and climate resilient economic growth. resilient economic growth.

The EOI process is now open and will close at midnight on Sunday, 1 March 2026.
