Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV) has further progressed the Alpine Resorts Leasing Policy, marking an important milestone in strengthening and modernising leasing arrangements across Victoria’s alpine resorts.
The Policy has been formally confirmed with the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), who will now progress the policy to the Minister for endorsement.
The policy establishes a consistent and transparent leasing framework across all alpine resorts, providing greater certainty for lessees, supporting appropriate investment, and ensuring leasing decisions align with long term planning, environmental management and sustainability objectives.
Development of the policy was informed by engagement with resort management boards, relevant government agencies and industry stakeholders, ensuring it is practical, balanced and responsive to the needs of the alpine resorts sector.
When endorsed and published, the Alpine Resorts Leasing Policy will guide future leasing decisions across Victoria’s alpine resorts.
