ARV advises that all building works in all alpine resorts must be completed by close of business Friday 16 May 2025. This is to support appropriate and safe preparation for the snow season.
This includes removal of all skips, scaffolding and all materials must be removed and sites completely cleared by Friday 16 May 2025. Objects left behind can become buried under snow and pose a significant safety hazard.
Snow can fall well ahead of the official start of the snow season, which will limit vehicle access to construction sites and roads may become icy, and with limited snow clearing operations, access may be limited.
Any lease holder who may be concerned about meeting this deadline should contact the ARV Property and Planning team via planning@alpineresorts.vic.gov.au.
