It's always nice when researchers tell us what we all intrinsically feel; that getting out in nature is good for our emotional, mental and physical wellbeing. A study conducted by the National Environmental Science Program - Sustainable Communities and Waste with over 4,000 people found that nature connectedness (i.e. how often you’re able to get out into nature) is highly correlated with life satisfaction.
