The Alpine Resorts Strategic Plan is the primary tool that guides Victoria’s alpine sector. It outlines the sector’s vision and long-term strategic objectives, articulates challenges and opportunities, and identifies strategic priorities for Victoria’s alpine resorts.
Throughout 2025, ARV has conducted extensive stakeholder consultation to develop a new Alpine Resorts Strategic Plan for 2026-2030. This consultation involved face-to-face engagement across various locations, online workshops, and feedback forms.
ARV is currently undertaking further consultation with each resort’s Stakeholder Consultative Committee, and expects this to be complete in at the end of January.
The outcomes of that consultation will be considered and incorporated into the draft ARSP before it is made available via Engage Victoria for public consultation, for a four-week period in early 2026.
