The 2026–2030 Alpine Resorts Strategic Plan is the key strategic document guiding the long-term vision, objectives, challenges, opportunities and priorities for Victoria’s alpine resorts.
For the first time the sector is supported by unified governance under Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV), providing a sector wide focus and a collaborative approach between government, industry and community.
ARV is proud to lead the development of the new Strategic Plan. This work represents a significant opportunity to bring the alpine sector together and ensure it continues to thrive into the future.
Extensive stakeholder consultation has taken place since June 2025 to inform the draft plan. Stakeholders from across the sector—including resort representatives, Traditional Owners, community groups, local government and industry—have generously contributed their insights, expertise and aspirations. Their input has been instrumental in shaping a strong, unified vision for the future of Victoria’s alpine resorts.
ARV is pleased to share that the Draft Strategic Plan is now open for public review on Engage Victoria until 26 March 2026.
