ARV is pleased to announce there has been a positive step forward for Alpine Leasing whereby DEECA now has the delegation authority to approve alpine leases under 51 years. This previously sat solely with the Minister, which could cause delays in execution.
This is a significant step forward in simplifying our leasing approval process with DEECA, leaving only those leases over 51 years to be approved by the Minister.
This will significantly streamline the process for the majority of our alpine leaseholders, and a testament to both DEECA and the Minister’s trust in ARV’s capacity to effectively manage these matters without draining state government resources.
This will come into effect immediately, and many of the tenants who were awaiting return of signed leases, will see the executed versions come through over the next couple of weeks.
