ARV advises that four of Victoria’s alpine resorts will have their last day of winter operations this Sunday 1 September – Mt Buller, Lake Mountain, Mt Baw Baw and Mt Stirling.
Falls Creek and Mt Hotham remain operational with the recent snowfalls seeming promising for another fortnight of operations.
While it has certainly been a challenging, low natural snow season, each alpine resort has done a tremendous job facilitating over 1 million visitor days across the six resorts with the resources they have available.
ARV would like to commend the staff and stakeholders of all of the resorts and thank the visitors who make the resorts a special place.
While some of the resorts will be setting up for summer operations, we hope to see as many, if not more visitors back at the resorts in winter 2025.
