Alpine Resorts Victoria (ARV) is inviting stakeholders from across Victoria’s alpine resorts to play an active role in informing the future of our mountain communities by applying to join one or more of the resort Stakeholder Consultative Committees (SCCs).

Nominations are now open, and we encourage passionate and engaged individuals who have a strong connection to their resort community to submit an application for membership on one or more of the following SCCs:

  • Falls Creek Alpine Resort
  • Lake Mountain Alpine Resort
  • Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort
  • Mt Buller Alpine Resort
  • Mt Hotham Alpine Resort
  • Mt Stirling Alpine Resort

Stakeholder Consultative Committees play an important role in supporting the management and long-term success of Victoria’s alpine resorts. They consider and provide constructive advice on operational and strategic matters, while also serving as an important link between ARV and local stakeholders.

Through the SCCs, members have the opportunity to raise matters of importance to their resort community, contribute local knowledge and perspectives, and help inform decision-making that supports sustainable and vibrant alpine destinations.

What’s involved?

Each SCC is made up of up to twelve members representing a diverse range of stakeholder groups and community interests within the resort.

Appointments are for a two-year term, and current committee members are welcome to reapply.

Committees meet up to six times each year discuss strategic and operational issues affecting the resort and its stakeholders. SCCs form an important part of ARV's consultation framework, providing members with valuable insight into resort operations while creating meaningful opportunities to contribute to future planning and decision-making.

As an SCC member, you will be expected to:

  • Attend at least 75% of scheduled meetings.
  • Maintain an active connection with your resort community and stakeholders.
  • Bring forward relevant issues, opportunities and feedback for discussion.
  • Review and provide input on strategic and operational matters presented by ARV.
  • Contribute constructively and collaboratively to discussions and recommendations.
