ARV is committed to ensuring the safe operation of drones, also known as Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) within the alpine resorts. Recreational drone use is not permitted, and commercial operators must obtain an ARV Drone Permit to operate.

Permit applications require compliance with strict criteria, including licensing, insurance, and detailed flight planning. Approval is not guaranteed and may take up to five business days, depending on complexity. Permitted operators must adhere to CASA Drone Safety Rules and resort-specific operational requirements.

This policy safeguards the safety, privacy, and enjoyment of visitors while protecting resort infrastructure and the sensitive alpine environment. Emergency Services personnel are exempt from permits during active operations.

Stakeholder cooperation is appreciated to ensure safe and responsible drone use across all alpine resorts.
